Our search for a location to start this brewery took us across much of Lower Bucks County, many times traveling down the well known divider between northern Philadelphia, southern Bucks, and Montgomery Counties….County Line Road. One of the original names we thought of for the brewery was that of County Line Brewing Company. I don’t know how or why we didn’t settle on that, but in recognition of our location so close to Philadelphia and that potential namesake, we decided to pass the name on to our flagship IPA that comes in at 6.63% ABV and is chock full of Warrior, Chinook, Simcoe, and Zythos hops. It’s got a bready, slightly cracker-like malt backbone to counter some of that hop bitterness, but not so much that this four hop combination won’t put a smile on your face (or a giant pucker). It’s got a huge citrus-grapefruit note with a nice lingering hop bitterness showing a complexity that few hugely hop forward IPAs lack.

Poured into tulip a hazy copper with white head and good lace. While the commercial description said citrus, grapefruit as did many other reviews here I got a pine aroma and taste. Crisp pine air over a resin. Enjoyed

Can from reggiedunlop. Pours brassy gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is lots of citrus with a pine note. Med + body. Flavor is resin/citrus with detectable caramel. It is bitter. But the hop is rather mixed. Strong tho. Somehow I’m not getting much separable flavors.

12 ounce can thanks to Leafs93. Pours cloudy orange with ample white head. Modest patches of lacing. Fresh aromas of resinous nectar and pine. Citrusy taste of grapefruit, nectarines, and peaches. Smooth finish with lingering bitters. Sessionable IPA.

12oz can from bhensonb. Pours cloudy golden with a thick off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a hearty pale malt flavor with some musty hop bitterness and a dry finish.

12oz can pours a lightly hazy orange with some creamy, sudsy white head. Nose has a fair amount of soap, orange, lemon, mild pine. Mostly just soapy. Flavor is very bitter, blood orange, white grapefruit, soap, pine needles. Bitter finish. One note.

Can to shaker glass. Pours hazy amber orange, one finger head, decent lacing. Aroma of pine, grapefruit and bread. Taste is extremely bitter with very little sweetness. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, soapy-resin mouth feel. Finishes long and bitter with notes of pine, grapefruit, lemon rind, resin and metallic overtones. They could have upped the malt bill on this one, but not a bad IPA.

Can. Dark orange. Big grapefruit aroma with pine and bread crust. Huge citrus bitter taste. Mouth numbing feel and very unbalanced but, I like it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours copper orange with a one finger white head. Aroma is of citrus, cracker malts, pine, sweet malts, and light grassy hops. Taste is about the same as the aroma with. Bit more hop bite and a light malt backbone. Has a medium body with a slighty creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, semi-moderately bitter, medium finish. Overall, a decently tasty, above average ipa.

Deep orange color with fluffy white head, even a bit creamy. A bit metallic, soapy, earthy, and some faint pine. Ok, but nothing good.
