Poured from a 22 ounce bomber. There is a solid smoky note in this beer. The graham crake is noticeable in both aroma and flavor. This is a smore in a glass.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours black with dark brown head and an appearance of brown sugar. Has a chcolate, malt and brown sugar aroma. Has a creamy taste with chcolate , coffee, brown sugar and light dark fruits. Intersting aftertaste with some malty dark fruits given the coffee/chcolate flavors.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: Thanks Jdb288: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Meeium sized brown head. Black beer.
Aromas of chocolate, wood roast, some herbs, cacoa, flowers, marshmallows and malt roast.
Flavours of dry cacoa tones, roast (malt & wood), some hops, some mocha, some marshmellows, good bitter, some liquorice, coal and mocha with a teeny tiny cinnamon sprinkle.
Aftertaste is bitter, roast, (dry) cacoa powder, coal and roasted malts.
Low carbo, thick to oily close to silky mouthfeel, full bodied and a light dry bitter roasty thicker texture.
Good stuff! Quite heavy on the bitters and no trace of any sweetness from marshmallows. Well done!

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
THOUGHTS: Nice imperial stout. Hard to tell at first if there was anything unique or unusual about the flavor or aroma based on the odd ingredients but as it warmed they began to develop. The aroma was a little hot, but the alcohol was fairly well hidden in the flavor. It was fairly easy to drink for the high ABV. It went down easy. Better and better as it warmed. Went well with cocoa roast almonds.
TECHNICAL: Drank 5/12/2013. Bottle. Poured very dark brown that was basically opaque black in the glass with decent legs and a small, light, reddish brown head that mostly diminished. Toward the end it looked like graham cracker crumbs floating in the wisps of the head. The aroma was a little weak compared to the flavor but had moderate chocolate and coffee; light hops when very warm; dark fruit; cherry; slight vanilla; alcohol; pie crust, a little smoke and acrid burnt marshmallows. The initial flavor was moderately sweet, slightly acidic and lightly bitter; while the finish was moderate to heavily sweet, light to moderately bitter, slightly sour and lightly acidic. There was chocolate syrup, caramel, molasses, coffee syrup, a little roasted malt, hints of smoke, a little vanilla (which might be marshmallow), something a little like cinnamon, a little alcohol, cherry and other dark fruit, cream, vanilla and I think actually Fluff when warmer, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and, when very warm, pine hops. The medium to full body was oily but sticky on the lips with soft carbonation with a light alcoholic finish.

Served on tap in a snifter
Appearance – The beer is served a pitch black color with a one finger of tan colored head. The head fades relatively quickly leaving a big level of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell –The aroma is overall roasted, sweet and malty. A good level of a roasted smell mixed with a bit of a graham cracker smell create the bulk of the smell. Along with these aromas are some quite sweet aromas. The sweeter smells are of a chocolate and vanilla nature, mixed with some marshmallow like smells of more vanilla and confectioners’ sugar. All in all the mix of aromas is quite inviting, creating a rather sweet and chocolate “s’more like” smell.
Taste – The taste begins rather sweet and roasted with a good level of caramel, chocolate and vanilla sweetness and a nice roasted malt flavor that meld well with the sweet to create a chocolate bar like flavor for the brew. This sweeter chocolate flavor persists throughout the taste with other flavors of some of the marshmallow sweetness, with a more powdered sugar like taste, joining the tongue soon after the initial tastes. Some caramel and a bit more chocolate as well as some more graham cracker like flavors joining the tongue more toward the end, one is left with a rather sweet, chocolaty and smooth sugary taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is average to slightly on the lower side for what would be expected of a brew of 11.6 % abv with a carbonation level that is on the average to slightly above average side. A bit of a thicker body and a little less carbonation may have suited the rich and sweet imperial stout qualities of the brew a bit better, but overall it was still rather nice and it really hides the alcohol content well as only the slightest trace of it is encountered in the taste..
Overall – A quite tasty brew overall. Big and robust, but with a amazingly hidden alcohol level. Pretty much a drinkable decadent dessert in a glass.

Bottle and served in snifter: Get plenty of mallows and bakers chocolate all up in here but not any graham cracker. Good sweet bread and golden raisins character with a nod to light resiny pine. Not as toasty or charred as most Imperial Stouts however and that is a good thing I believe. Sadly however this is not my Aston Martin but more a Buick Lacrosse. Damn nice car but still a wanna be.
