Bomber from Capones. Turbid dark black pour with nose of roasty dark maltt, lactosy sugars, dry cacao. Tastes rich, with roasty dark/choc malt, oaty lactosy hints, and a rich complex finish. This one IMHO is better than the more acclaimed Lancaster variety.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Not too good. Looks nice but downhill from there. Burnt malt dominates the aroma. Burnt malt in the flavor. No notice of the sweetness expected.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deep brown pour with a nice finger of head. Aroma was sweet malts, milk chocolate, light roasted malt. Medium body. Flavor was more milk chocolate, lightly roasted caramel malt, sweet sugars. I really enjoyed this one. (Draught at Irish Pol)
