COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Pilsner is assertively hopped with Hallertau and Tettnanger noble hops and has a cracker-like malt backbone that finishes crisp and dry coming in at 4.8% ABV, which makes this one highly drinkable (which is the point, duh). We named this beer in honor of the Trauger family of Bucks County who came to America in 1747 and were among some of the earliest German immigrants to the area. In 1767 Christen and Henry Trauger purchased two farmsteads in Nockamixon Township and have been a part of the fabric of this county, state, and country ever since. Five generations and 6847 family members later our Head Brewer somehow got lucky enough to be a small leaf of that family tree, and this is our way of looking back not only on that history here in this country, but also our family’s history dating back to Germany. Ironically enough, the Trauger family’s German heritage predates the introduction and widespread popularity of the Pils style, but nonetheless, this beer is brewed and named in their honor.

Draft a Craft. Pours hazy medium gold with a finger of off-white head. Nose is pale malt, fruit, hopcitrus. Tastes pale malty and fruity up front, with mid-palate hops, citrus, and floral notes, and a smooth, crisp finish. This one is a good effort.

Can from Dmac, thanks dude. Pours out a moderate light golden color with a lot of carbonation and a small white head. Aroma is sweet cereal malts, crisp floral hops and some grass. Taste is much the same, clean and straight forward pils with that grassy/floral hop profile you’d expect, light sweet malty notes. Easy drinking and right on the mark for the style.

From the can. Aroma is some nice grass hop, and a light biscuit malt. Pours light blonde with a bit of a foamy head. Taste is light grass, white bread, and slight caramel malt. Very light and clean. Kind of a great pils for chugging and enjoying. Liked this one.

Enjoyable, a little heavy, not quite as crisp as I like my pilseners, but still fairly clean, a bit of biscuit, a little sweet. Nice, dry, slightly citrus finish.

Pours a hazy gold yellow with a medium white slowly fading head, mild lacing. Scents of citrus, grains and grass fill the nose with some fruity and yeast notes as well follow thru on the taste. Palate is a medium clean crisp body, fairly pleasant on the tongue. Finish is sweet mild spice fruit some lemon, yeast, grains and yeast and nutty aftertaste. Overall quite pleasant refreshing summer brew.

12oz can from Spirits Xroads. Poured a clear light gold body, medium to slightly lighter density, fluffy white head. Aroma is grains, sweet breads, touch of earth and a drop of lemon juice. Nice medium body, softer carbonation, crisp finsh that lingers. Flavor of grains, cereal, toast, light lemon zest, white grapes and crust. Nice I like this brewery.
