Our Pilsner is assertively hopped with Hallertau and Tettnanger noble hops and has a cracker-like malt backbone that finishes crisp and dry coming in at 4.8% ABV, which makes this one highly drinkable (which is the point, duh). We named this beer in honor of the Trauger family of Bucks County who came to America in 1747 and were among some of the earliest German immigrants to the area. In 1767 Christen and Henry Trauger purchased two farmsteads in Nockamixon Township and have been a part of the fabric of this county, state, and country ever since. Five generations and 6847 family members later our Head Brewer somehow got lucky enough to be a small leaf of that family tree, and this is our way of looking back not only on that history here in this country, but also our family’s history dating back to Germany. Ironically enough, the Trauger family’s German heritage predates the introduction and widespread popularity of the Pils style, but nonetheless, this beer is brewed and named in their honor.

Growler bought at The Greeks in Narberth. Light brown color is darker than most other Pilsners I've had and I've had a lot. Bready sweet aroma. Mouthfeel is maltier than other Pilsners and sweeter too. I prefer dry snappy ones. Overall a very good beer. I'd put it a tad bit towards a light bock or Munich lager than a straight pilsner, but its very good. A great beer to get your friends hooked on craft beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The Beer Store, Southampton, PA six-pack: Pours golden with white head. Aroma is grassy, with a good bit of hops, and hay and bread. Taste is moderately bitter. Lingering aftertaste and powerful finish. Pretty good pils.

This is what I refer to as a crushable beer. Clean crisp palate with nice amount of hops goes. Refreshing and well done.

Can. Golden thin head. Corn nose. German flavor palate but finish lingers a bit too long for my taste.

This beer poured a golden color with a medium sized white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was a touch skunky with moderate perfume. The flavor was moderate perfume. Faint skunk and a bit of fruit. Medium length finish. Medium body. Not good.

Can from Brian via dmac… clear yellow color with the pils malt, grass and hops. Body is on point for the style, light crisp and dry texture. Germen hop rightup front with the bready malt in support of the hops. True in style.
