COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tribute Tripel – After countless water testing and system checks, Tribute Tripel was the first beer to be brewed at Neshaminy Creek Brewing. Overall, we’re really happy with the way the rampup on this beer turned out. We feel it’s very true to style of a classic Belgian Tripel, a Tribute if you will The 9.3% ABV is very deceptive, so don’t underestimate this beer. Sometimes American brewers have a tendency to use far to many spices in this style and don’t rely enough on the yeast to do what it does best, and for this style, that’s hugely important. The bitter orange peel and coriander add a citrus flavor and spice note that help this beer finish on the dry side. We’re hoping attenuation will be a tad better on the upcoming batches, because in my opinion this style can never finish dry enough, but overall the first batch of Tribute finished quite well and so far the feedback has been great.

Deep gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Sweet malt and rock candy on the nose. Flavor mirrors aroma with a touch of bitter on the end. Medium bodied and a tad fizzy. Nice beer

Bottle. Pours a clear dark gold body under a one finger fizzy white head that slowly faded. The nose is slightly sweet with some light spices, moderate alcohol, and some heavy pale malt. The flavor is a little too sweet for my tastes in the style, quite a bit of residual sweetness on the finish especially. Fairly heavy alcohol presence on the back end as well. The spicing seems to be fairly well kept in check, but the sweetness is a big turn-off for me. Full bodied and a bit sticky with fizzy carbonation and a warming finish. Doesn’t really do it for me, not that I’m a huge fan of Tripels, but this is just too sweet.

Medium bodied golden Tripel. Belgian yeast citrus and light bitterness. Served to me in a pint glass, but really deserved a chalice

on tap at Dog & Bull in Croyden - pretty good. Nice color and flavor. Didn’t really notice the higher alcohol content in the taste.

22 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden with long lasting, fluffy, white head. Aroma is of Belgian yeast, bready malt and spices. Body is full, creamy and tangy. Taste is of yeast, spices, sugar, herbal hops, bready malt and fruity esters. Finish is sweet first than becomes very spicy. Very nice brew.

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky apricot color with a large creamy yellow-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy sugar, bread dough and golden fruits. The flavor was tangy pepper, bread dough, honey, sugar, golden fruits, hot peppers and candied ginger. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied. Interesting.
