UPDATED: JAN 7, 2014 Cask @ Bedford Arms, Bedford. Copper/tan with a fair bit of head. Faint aroma of honey and citrus with a trace of undefinable grain. Taste is sour/bitter with an astringent bitter aftertaste. Passable but not all that exciting.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask @ The Willow Walk. The pourís a deep amber color with a small head. The nose is standard caramel, light twig, some hints of red berry. The taste is much the same. Bubblegum sweetness, strong caramel, a bit of toasted tobacco leaf. Dry finish. Light body, soft carbonation. Overall, a really boring beer. Thereís no margin for error with bitters. This misses the mark!
