Mes_and_Sim (4495), Highgate, Greater London, England May 10, 2008 A Mes rate: Gravicask at Reading Beer Festival. A gorgeous golden blonde colour with an impressive white head and possibly the best conditioned beer of the festival. Fruity hoppage with lots of peach, a lovely note of liquorice and a pleasing dry, bitter finish. Lovely stuff.
Pub (4125), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Sep 21, 2008 Cask conditioned at Codshall Station, Codshall, Staffs. Orange gold with white head. Pretty straightforward golden Ale, slight buttery notes and a touch oily in the body, light restrained malts but not much hop action for me, all a little sweetish and light. It’s ok and drinkable without getting stuck in. Reasonable. leaparsons (4001), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Sep 14, 2008 Bottle. Amber with a small head. Aromas are toffee malts with berries. Sweet with bubblegum and spices. Flavours are dry with medium malts and berry fruit. Fruity and dry on the finish.
