Cask gravity, ’All Creatures Great and Small’ festival, The Merchant’s Inn, Drugby. Headless ruby. Cherry with some leafy hop traces in the aroma. Fruity with a dry hop finish, biscuit and cake. Not bad.

Cask@Newark Beer Festival, 2008. Brown beer with a mildly toffee aroma and a strongly toffee and bitter flavour. Overall an average beer.

Cask conditioned at Thomas Rigby’s, Liverpool. Reddish amber with white head. Malty sweet fuller bitter, quite rich as Hughie points out and definitely fruity. A decent best bitter. Good stuff.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber, quite dark. Fresh fruit and cardboard aroma. Taste is rich, sweet grainy malt, beautifully balanced with sour fruitiness. Mid bitter. I thought this was a pretty near perfect English Bitter. I think Nethergate produce far too many beers: this is my twenty-second. Most are okayish. This one is the best by far.

Draft at the "Live and Let Live" in Cambridge - a splendid beer in a superb pub!

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2006 I liked the art work, but the beer was a little flavorless, and a little booring, but it was a little nice wathicnmg the clip.
