Cask conditioned handpump Mudlark London 16/05/13. A brown beer with an off-white head. Too sweet and the corainder spicing is weird. Doesnít work for me although at the last minute a fruitiness comes in which almost saves it. More than a hint of coriander.

Cask @ Haymarket, Edinburgh [300413]
Deep amber, clear, dense white head, good lacing
Aroma of spicy herbal hops, coriander, black pepper
Taste of caramel malts, toasted malts, coriander, black pepper, odd flavour, too much black pepper/coriander, unbalanced and overloaded
Palate - Medium body. Finish - more toasted caramel malts come through, long linger of those aromatic herbs and too much black pepper
Overall - This isnít working - without the extra stuff chucked in thereís a decent beer under there

Cask @ Bear and Staff. Clear amber with a lasting off/white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light hoppy / tropical fruit. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Light dry and light bitter finish. 240413

Cask at The Old White Swan in York. Brewed for Nicholsonís. Pours dark amber with a creamy beige head. Light floral aroma. Med body. Flavor is light roast caramel with a coriander/citrus accent. Seems to go a bit spicy. Finishes very smooth and mellow - not dry - mildly bitter. Nice tho.

Cask by handpump at Drum & Monkey, Glasgow (9 Mar 2013) - clear amber brown, creamy off-white head, good lacing, malty fruity aroma, similar flavours, easy to drink
