2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask at the Wenlock Arms (with Spiesy). The colour was a pale amber/gold, butt I thought this tended towards the session bitter style, more than a golden ale. The aroma had some soft malt and the palate started out subdued and a little sweet with the hop bitterness coming through at the end. However, the hops wern’t too well developed and, for some reason I can’t quite put my finger on, the whole thing didn’t come together too well and I found myself not enjoying this too mucg by the end of the pint. Average.
