3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Two hand-pulled pints in The Cock Hotel, wellington: one on 29th Nov 13, one on 1st Dec 13.
Looked the same but the second pint wasnít as mellow as the first, had more flavour and seemed ícrisperí. Different barrel, or just two days older: should have asked the Landlord I suppose.
Pours an orange/copper colour with a tight white crown.
The aroma was fairly weak on both pints: some floral and light fruit esters with hints of spices.
The taste is far from weak though: full of flavour with the coriander standing out within the blend of bittering hops and mild malts.
Medium bodied and a pleasant change from the light golden cask brews that are flooding the UK market currently.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Copper-brown, thin bright white head; malty aroma; well balanced malt and hops, dried fruity taste; a weird herbal coriander bitterness on the finish which Iím not totally sold on; still, a decent enough sub 4 percenter.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On cask at JDW, Sutton Coldfield - An orange body with a thick light orange head. The aroma is very flowery, with some spicy notes, and a bit citric. The flavour is sweet and again very flowery combined with hints of perfume and coriander, leading to a dry end. Not bad, but easily forgettable.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at the Elm Tree, Cambridge. Fairly weak aroma, but who cares about that! The flavour is amazingly floral with a huge hoppy bitterness and some spice from the coriander. A really excellent brew and quite different to anything most people will have tasted before.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask @ JDW Elgin 221012
Amber, clear, dense white head, some lacing
Aroma - Coriander, citrus hops, soft orange, floral hop, peppery herbs
Taste - soft pale sweet fruity malts, bitter light zesty hop, some black pepper, soft oramge, dab of coriander initially, certainly not bland here - after a while it gets TOO herbal and peppery and rather overpowering
Palate - soft carb, thin to medium body, quite oily. Finish as main flavour, lingering fairly bitter herbs, black pepper, orange, long bitter quite complex linger, long long herbal linger, almost tingly bitter.....itís harsh but there a lot of flavour in there
Overall - Interesting beer, lot of flavour, puzzled by comments below that its bland....maybe its very inconsistent or I had an unusually strong flavoured batch. Too overpowering after a while and gets hard to drink. Rather flawed to be honest

Hand pull, The Felix Holt (JDW), Nuneaton, 23/10/12. Draped gold thinly lidded with white. Vinegared hay, lemon and glue on the nose. Drab and hay-like with a smidgeon of green herb. Poor.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
First time Iíve this in years, a sad disappointment with the coriander being virtually non existent. Poured a medium golden/amber, aroma was of mild malt without any of the expected spice. Medium to watery body, just simply lacking and bland.
