COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle @ yespr’s. Pours a golden orange colour with a rather small bubbly head. Wheaty, bit sour and yeasty aroma. The flavour is a bit sweet with wheat, yeast and some slight bit of spices.

Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, tasting @ yespr] Small fizzy white head. Cloudy orange colour. Spare lacework. Aroma of wheat and spelt, hint of yeast and banana. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Light to moderated sweet flavour with a hint of what feels like acidic. Light sweet spelt like finish.

Quite a surprise. Hazy dar yellow with okay white head. Much like a real wheat, though I was told this was really made on spelt. Weakly hoppy aroma with some banana. Quite sweet without as much mouthfeel as a regular wheat.

Bottled. Aroma of sweet banana. Cloudy, dark yellow color, small white head, few lace. Light sweet, light fruity sourness, light bitter, banana, soft and flat. Overall pretty boring.

0.33l bottle courtesy of ozujsko (thanks!)
This poured a typical weizen murky dark orange colour. Medium white head, went away fast. The nose was quite impressive. Heavy banana and yeast nose, dominated by a pronounced, and somehow odd clove note (got to be because of spelt). This has a lot of character, though, I’m not sure if I like it much. This odd, heavy, clove spiciness mingles with some overripe bananas, with just a hint of tobacco ash. Surprisingly enough, not that refreshing. An interesting beer, no doubt about it, though I doubt I’d have it again.

Rich wheat smell, full flavour, an outstanding weisse. Oranges and dry apples, pleasant hoppy finish.

Bottle: Hazy, golden coloured, thin foamy layer; cloves inthe aroma, citrusy notes, too; sweet fruity start, sweet flavour, a bit sticky texture; short fruity and yeasty finish with a tinge of "perfumed bubble-gum" aroma. Not refreshing, this "spelt", and no pleasure..........

(Bottle 33 cl) Deep orangey cloudy beer with a decent head. Lovely fruity and full-bodied with a soft sweetness. Low in carbonation with a moderate bitterness. 030402
