3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle… Clear, beautiful copper lager with a small, creamy, off-white head. Good retention. The nose reveals toasted grains, peppery hops, light caramel and a whisper of earthy tree bark. Medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. The flavor doesn’t suggest much more than moderately sweet toasted malts. Finishes earthy, lightly sweet, and then dry.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
11.2 oz odd-shaped green bottle. Organic beer.
Pours into my dimpled mug a nice cloudy w/apple juice with a quickly dissipating white head that leaves spots of lacing.
This one smells uttelry Americanized. It has htick hops, a wallop of caramel and a sort of toned-down black ipa scent overall, truly bizzare for the style. There is also a lot of cocoa.
The taste is good, not too sweet, flavor on par with the style with a good hop kick. It isn’t bitter hops rather a mouthful of hop flavor.
A good easy drinker for a hot summer day.
