Aroma is malts and heavy toffee. The flavor is toffee, brown bread and a hint of tartness and bitterness in the finish.

Bottle. Very malty, fresh sweet fruit aroma. Dark red/brown colour, unstable head. Malty flavour, a little sweet. Tastes toasted, but without being bitter. The flavour is mild, but still quite tasty.

Pours deep copper with gold edges and thin tan head. The aroma is pretty full with smooth caramel, candy apples and some dark fruity grapes. The taste is much the same with an even smooth mix of caramel and sweet dark grapes to go along with a note of grainy malts. It is smooth and nice. Well crafted brew bringing forth plenty of yum.

Bottle. Dark brown beer with a strongish airy head. The aroma and flavour is malty, roasted and yeasty. Overall a nice dunkel.

Great aroma: you have the feeling laying in a box of roasted coffebeans while sniffing this beer. Awesome. Also the visiuality of this beer rocks, nice brown body with hints of red and a huge frothy head. When the sip...it’s disappointing after the former two points. Coffebeans and milkchocalate but very light. Oily finish - all in all a weak flavor. A bit stronger flavor and a nicer finish and this beer would be mine.

A big nose of toast malt – reminded me of a US micro more than a German beer. A little dusty and hints of chocolate. Crystal clear dark caramel brown color and big, big fluffy tan head. The flavor was mostly roasted malt. It was a little acidic and even sour in the middle though. Dry, bitter end. Quick profile, medium body and creamy mouth feel. The balance was a little off and that’s where it lost points with me. Raw and rough around the edges but I liked this overall. The taste did no live up to the appearance and nose.

Bottled. Clear copper colour, rich head. Aroma of raisin and roasty malt. Fairly sweet with rounded rather soft mouthfeel. Interesting roasty peanut buttery flavour. Low bitterness. Really good dunkel!

Beautifully smooth and integrated DL - very clean yeast, crisp acidity but very little reidual bitterness. Very nice!

330ml bottle. Pours reddish amber with considerable head that doesn’t last long. The aroma consists of nuts, bread, toast, and a little roastiness. The beer tastes fairly sweet and slightly bitter that together make a solid and very drinkable session beer.

Bottle. Light brown sugar malt aroma. Clear red-brown color with large tan head and nice lacing. Sweet brown sugar malt flavor - acidic and lightly bitter hops finish. Pretty good stuff.
