COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

330 ml bottle at home in Germany and picked up at Wasanas. Pours a clear, yellow color with a lasting, white head. Aroma is grains mainly, some grass/hay. The beer tastes a bit sweet, grains, some malt. This beer is made for folks that can’t drink normal beer. Not too good all.

Bottle, 4.7%. The aroma is papery and citric, not so pleasant. Clear yellow colour, OK white head. The flavour is also a bit papery, slightly bready. Has some vegetable in the finish. Not good, but better than most Glutenfreis.

0.33 L green bottle. Mindestines haltbar bis: 12.04.12. It pours a light pale gold with a soapy (really, really soapy) white head that dissipates very quickly with some greasy-looking lacing. It has a noticeable skunk which is unfortunate because it is a fresh bottle. There is an acute fruitiness though hidden under the skunk. The taste isn’t as skunky. It is pretty standard actually. This is one of the better gluten-free beers out there. It doesn’t taste like money ass like the others. The mouthfeel is stark and fizzy. It has sort of an odd skunky aftertaste but the nice bit of hops helps it. Why they have to be idiots and throw it in the green bottle i don’t know, but it is a good beer otherwise.

Very pale yellow colour, with a fully diminishing white head, no lacing. Vague, sweet malty aroma, cereal and mild hops. Initial light sweet taste, light bitter finish. Boring, boring and boring.
[33 cl bottle, from ICA, Hasle, Oslo]

Ah, Gluten-free beer.... never saw a need for it, but perhaps those who are really allergic to Gluten (whatever that is) appreciate the stuff. Me, I just like trying new beers. Pours with a pale yellow body and a pretty solid head if you are aggressive about getting it into the glass. Soft aroma of hops and little else. Taste is a heavy grassiness with some hops on the back end. Dry finish. Tastes rather like a bière de garde methinks.
