50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a diminished white head. Light citrus fruity aroma with a light hops and malt note. Flavour is light citrus fruity, mild malt base that just shows a bit of caramel and a subdued bitterness. Dryness and bitterness grows slowly towards the finish nicely mixed with a fresh citrus fruity note.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light touch of caramel, while the flavor is sweet and quite clean, leading to a dry bitter finish.

[Bottled at Københavnske Øldage] Clear golden, no head. Surprisingly malt sweetness tops grassy hops, and the mouthfeel is rounded rather than crisp. Bready malt dominates. The finish is reasonably bitter though. Not the most pilsnerish german pilsner, but a good beer.

Bottle. Pours an almost clear, a bit pale golden body with a small, lasting head. Fruity, citrusy aroma with some malty notes in the background. The flavor has a malty flavor initially, but the fruity, citrusy flavors soon take control, and there’s also a nice bitterness. Medium body. The finish is fruity and bitter, some piney notes and a little griany note. Refreshing and quaffable pilsner. (080426)

Bottle. 4.8%. Dusty aroma, some predator. Golden colour, small, stable, creamy white head. Dusty hop flavour, not very bitter. Good mouthfeel. Has some strange flavour to it, perhaps skunked.

Leighton (11860) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2011
Bottle in CT. Pours a not entirely clear gold with a voluminous, white head. Nose holds some biscuity malts, dank hops, crispy straw. Very nice flavor, not too sweet, the bitterness is just right, cleansing and cutting, grass, hay, straw, that kind of think. Good, light to medium in body with average carbonation. Earthy, grassy hops on the finish that linger shortly, and a good balance of malty sweetness. Very nice, well balanced beer.
