COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Neumarkters version of a Helles beer.

Pours a bright clear golden yellow with a white head. The smell is grain, hit of caramel and grass. The taste is light caramel, rich malt, grain ending dry and grassy. The body is light+ with slightly subdues carbonation. It is going down fine with my falafel but isn’t anything special on it’s own.

50cl Bioland-stamped, appropriately fresh from Alnatura. Pours a very clear, almost double-filtered looking Helles. Delicate natural aroma hops sit atop fine, white bread and near-almond malts. Ecologically correct, drinkable, sadly missing that little extra called character to make it all come together as a beer and a mainstay.

Pours clear golden, sporting a white head with passable retention. Grainy and hay notes from the malts and earthy noble hop notes float up to the nose. The flavor doesn’t surprise much; up front, the palate is dominated by grainily-hayish and slighlty caramelized malty notes before the down-to-earth yet noble hops make a muted statement without leaving much bitterness. This beer doesn’t leave much of an impression in the finish. The body is pretty full and the texture is pleasantly soft. Clean and easy to drink; solid performance.
