Neumarkters version of a Helles beer.
Das ist der pure würzige Geschmack. Bernsteinfarben und vollmundig rund spürt man die Kraft des Biomalzes auf der Zunge. Durch etwas weniger Hopfen schmeckt es mild und schmeichelt dem Gaumen.

Aroma of caramel malt, bread, fruity hops, resin, honey and yeast. Pours clear amber-golden liquid with a small, frothy white head that disappears quickly. Sweet taste with flavour notes of sweet malt, sugar, caramel, cereal, cardboard and honey, very little hops flavour although a light bitter undertone is noticeable. Rather light body with an oily texture and lively carbonation.

Bottle. Pours dark golden straw colored with a medium creamy white head. Sweet bready and doughy aroma with light notes of grain and caramel. Sweet taste with a light bitter hoppy finish. Medium bodied and crisp, with high carbonation. Spicy hoppy notes get stronger in the flavor with a light herbal touch. Light grainy sweetish aftertaste.

Dark golden to amber, very clear, minimal head. The aroma is not too intensive and dominated by malts. The hops are discreet but still pleasantly noticable. Hay from the malt and grass from the hops give the beer a taste of a fresh medow. Full body, feels more alcoholic than it is, very nice drinkability. Additional props for the "Bio"-label and the corresponding company philosophy.

Bottle shared on the train from Nuremberg to Bamberg during the Bamberg Jolly. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Lots of basic cereal notes, white sugar, straw, white bread. Light in body with average carbonation. Sweet finish with further cereal notes, dirty hay bitterness, biscuits. Not bad.
