2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Gutifa (104) - Bad Wurzach, GERMANY - MAR 27, 2013
Darker than a usual for a Helles.
Aroma is not bad, kinda hoppy. In mouth, the first time taste really good. Like the perfect balance between hops and a good base of malt. After 5 mins everything change and it finish like a boring, to sweet and watery beer.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 kerenmk (1241) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 14, 2013
Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Thanks beerandbeyond. Pours clear golden with frothy white head. Faint metallic aroma but then nothing. Then, after stirring, some sweetness. Tastes insignificantly sweet - rather tasteless really - soft fizz, light body, short finish.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 DSG (3978) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 14, 2013
Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Thanks beerandbeyond. Clear golden. Aroma of vegetables, graininess and unpleasant weird candy hints. Sweetish flavor with light sourish notes and cereals. Light-bodied. Unpleasant.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Shaney (1807) - Köln / Cologne, GERMANY - DEC 13, 2012
#294

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 stefannilssons (870) - SWEDEN - OCT 18, 2012
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Senka (120) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 2, 2012
Tried that in 2007. I remember it to be a bit to watery, and to thin for Helles.

Pale yellow of color with a white head. An aroma of hops. A flavor of hops. O.K.
