Neumarkters version of a Helles beer.

Just a rich, full-on, natural helles that goes down smooth and tastes sehr lecker.

Deep golden and with a great complex hop aroma. Also a nice aromatic taste which goes well with the medium body. The only thing i am missing for the beer to be perfect is the last zang of bitterhops to create a more interesting and longer lasting aftertaste. It is an organic beer by the way.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2008 [bottle] Very aromatic balance of fresh German hops and crisp almost caramely malt. Nearly cleary tawny yellow with a thin cover that laces the glass nicely. Amazing amount of flavour for such a light-ish appearing beer: powerful yet almost crisp malt with caramel notes that may be diacetyl but go very well in this beer, supported by a nice dose of floral and almost herbal hops. Some subtle notes of peach and celery. Medium to light body, generous carbonation, crisp but not light.

Test vom 4.2.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2007 Bottled. Golden coloured. Some maltiness in the aroma, otherwise very hop aromatic. Hoppy and fresh flavour with some rather solid maltiness underneath.

Bottle, 4.7%. Aroma of brick dust. Hazy amber colour, stable head. The flavour is quite nice, good maltiness in combination with a nice sweet hoppiness. The finish is a little watery, though. But quite nice still.

Bottle. Light sweet malt and grass hops aroma. Clear golden yellow color with large white head. Initially a bitter grass hops flavor but finishes with a sweet honey malt - nice. Different - a nice beer.

Just a bit darker as gold. Strong barnyard aroma, malty. Hay aroma and flavor. Earthy, rye. Just a bit of licorice. Is this a helles? I can hardly believe it. It’s a small bomb with unusual flavors.
