2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
The aroma is is malty with mixed grains and hay like hops. The appearance is watered down ginger ale with a thin head. The taste is like the aroma with a mixed grain finish. The palate is average. Overall nothing special about it.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml bottle. Unfiltered orange-brown body. Creamy, steady off-white head. Not so impressive caramel aroma. A real easy going beer...I certainly wouldn’t designated this as a Marzen, maybe just as much a Heller Bock or somewhere between. A touch of vanilla, cream. Unique and tasty.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
New Leaf Market. 500 mL europint, sad sack snowman on the label. Almost clear maple gold; fluffy, short white head. Sweet, bocky-malty aroma with some dark syrup. Sweetish, modestly bittered, rather bland. Watery mouthfeel, loses effervescence. Starchy, straw finish with some dark syrup tones. This came off as dilute marzen or bock. Disappointing.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Good head with nice lace and off-white color. Color is light amber to orange. Malty and light smoky nose. Taste is light sweet and malty, burned malt notes and some acid. Light bitter aftertaste with hope notes. Better than other "Weihnachtsbeers".

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is for the Winter Festbier, which I assume is the same beer.
Light amber color, cracked wheat, toasted malt nose with bit of wininess and chocolate. Mouth is smooth and malty with lots of toasted notes. Nice

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy dark amber color with a slightish white head. Nose is malty and slightly sweet with a hint of caramel in there. Taste is much the same, and is very light and smooth.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of pivnizub. It pours a beautiful clear amber beer with a decent head. Sweet diacetyl malt accented nose with hints of boiled milk, papaya and candy sugar- that’s how I would put it. Malt accented taste. I don’t like the commercial description- at least accurate but not the most flattering I could think of- less of something I like in a pils without being appropriate to the style doesn’t make the beer more interesting or have character in a greater extent. Pretty lacework. Sweetish. Very drinkable. Papaya sneaking in. Tricky to rate this beer actually. Faintly sourish. I could just do with a lot more hops. Overall impression: Sweet, low bitterness, very drinkable, low carbonation, malt accentuated, fruity (papaya), buttery. Thanks a lot pivnizub!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Paid $3.99 for a 500ml bottle 5.1% @ Nikki’s Liquors, Providence, R.I. Lager glass shows a golden /orange color with thin soapy head that laces. Nose is sweet grain and caramel malt. Toasted cereal and grain flavors with a creamy texture. Nice balance between bitter and sweet. Really easy to drink. Nothing complex yet I wonder why the ratings aren’t a bit higher. Sometimes it’s hard to find fresh imports, maybe that’s the reason. I enjoyed this brew.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
