COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

bottle courtesy of yespr clear yellow, white head. aroma is quite mild, a little caramelly perhaps a little buttery, nutty, grains, alc. bitterness.. but all quite subtle. flavor is roasted malts, spicy (not spices), grains, bitter caramel, ends a bit weird sweetish bitter.

[bottle] Spicy hops aroma with some hay and melanoidins. Clear copper under a rocky, lacy, off-white head. Spicy melanoidiny caramel flavour with some walnuts and plenty of hay. Well balances sweet and bitter character, though a bit weak, letting through some ethanol. Light to medium body, medium carbonation, slight bitter hay finish.

Test vom 19.12.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,9,9,9,10,9 - 8,95

Bottle: Bubbly, cloudy brown-orange with a small, off-white head. Caramel, dry grass/hay scent. Taste is slightly dusty, creamy caramel.... stale bread notes. OK.

(bottle) Clear amber colour with a small frothy off-white head. Sweet toasted malts aroma with bread crust. Sweet flavour, medium body, smooth carbonation. Toastmalty and sweet initial taste and a slightly bitter, dense hoppy finish.

Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of pivnizub. It pours a beautiful clear amber beer with a decent head. Sweet diacetyl malt accented nose with hints of boiled milk, papaya and candy sugar- that’s how I would put it. Malt accented taste. I don’t like the commercial description- at least accurate but not the most flattering I could think of- less of something I like in a pils without being appropriate to the style doesn’t make the beer more interesting or have character in a greater extent. Pretty lacework. Sweetish. Very drinkable. Papaya sneaking in. Tricky to rate this beer actually. Faintly sourish. I could just do with a lot more hops. Overall impression: Sweet, low bitterness, very drinkable, low carbonation, malt accentuated, fruity (papaya), buttery. Thanks a lot pivnizub!

Nichts besonderes! Test vom 29.11.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,9,8,7,12,9 - 8,80

Bottle, bought @ CITTI, Flensburg.
Completely clear darkish golden, lovely, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, some sugars, light caramel. Medium carbonation, fairly creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has heavy malty sweetness, light biscuity notes, some pepper, soft brewing cereal. Fine, but not fantastic.

Pours orangish amber, small off-white head. Slightly hazy. Aroma is honey and raisins. Rather sweet. Finish is kind of astringent. Medium body.
