OleR (4802) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 26, 2007
Bottle. Brilliant, straight pilsner golden. Medium-sized white head. Nice lacework. Slight sweet aromas; fresh bread and cookies balanced with an appropriarate, crisp hop presence. Taste is malts and cereal, with a well prononced sweetness. Light to medium body. Sweet/acidic finish. A very drinkable Pilsener.

tykjen (182) - Florø, NORWAY - MAR 4, 2007
Delicate hoppy nose with noble hops. Slightly hazy, is it just coarsly filtered? Dry body, a bit on the thin side. Very nice light lager. Highly drinkable.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2008 Huge offwhite shiny coarse head. Very faintly hazy yellow body with light carbonation. Chalky, earthy caramel aroma with notes of peas, straw, and rubber. Sweetish chalky straw and caramel taste with a soft mouthfeel. Notes of peas and earth. Dry earthy aftertaste with floral hop notes. Quite a lot of taste. A very good pilsener, and very unusual, although it definitely has the house profile. (0.33l bottle, Meny.)

rauchbier (3610) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JAN 7, 2007
Bottle, from ASDA. Straw gold, moderate lasting white head and moderate condition. Pleasant grassy hoppiness and gentle chalky grain in the nose, good solid blend of grainy malt and restrained hop bitterness in the mouth and a low but lingering graininess in the finish tempered by a solid hop bitterness.

DruncanVeasey (7191) - NUNEATON, Top 18, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2006
Admirably skunky, hop-scented Pils with an assertive bitterness and tang of lemony soapiness. A touch of cereal-like softness long after the swallow. A robustly hoppy, citrussy example.

Bottled. A slightly hazy yellow coloured beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is grassy noble hops. The taste is quite sharp bitterness. Hoppy, crisp and decent.

Bottle. (as Organic Pilsner). Golden with a large white foam. Aromas are biscuit and grain with toast and plenty of floral, dry hops. Flavours are light butter and biscuit malts with hints of caramel. Dry and gritty notes follow with some herbal, bitter hops. Not bad.

Well! This was a surprise! The clean, bright golden colour and the good white head (lasts well and nice lace too) was a good start, good depth of colour not the thin, pale, watery pils style of Becks, etc. Nose is fairly hoppy, some cereal in the background, nice though. Quite light in body, clean and well balanced. I prefer a maltier style, but I enjoyed this. Asda,Galashiels..a truly crap range of beer, NOT worth the trouble to visit if you’re in the area, try Tesco across the road instead.
