A nice brew, a little bitter, to my liking, abit grassy, very easy drinking, a good pils! a bio beer too!

Bottled at Altstadthof, Nürnberg.. Very würzig hop aroma, with a note of light grainy malts underneath. Clear yellow body with a medium sized white head. Light bready malt flavor, with some quite spicy hops, turns into a dry lingering bitterness.

Bottled at Altstadthof, Nürnberg. Slightly hazy golden coloured with big white head. Malty and grainy aroma. Sweet malty flavour with a very hoppy and bitter finish. Very clean, crisp and fresh. Soft mouthfeel. Well balanced. This was much better than any of Altstadthof’s homebrewed beers.

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2005 (bottle) Slightly hazy and pale golden colour with a medium sized white froth. Grassy hop aroma. Bittersweet malty flavour and taste with a bitterhoppy grassy dry finish. Not very interesting but clean and crisp Pilsener.

Bottle. Hoppy aroma. Yellow colour, small white creamy head. Dryish, moldy hop flavour, somehow reminding me of liquorice root. A little cardboard flavour, but not in a specifically bad way.

Golden color, light hoppy aroma and taste, medium body, light hoppy finish.

Salt and hay aroma with a hint of licorice. Medium to full bodied. malty and grassy flavor with some licorice. Very un-pilsener like, but a fairly well made and tasty beer.

A slightly hazy orange beer with a fine head. The aroma is very hoppy and sweet too - a simple aroma. The flavor starts out with hop notes, then comes the malt with a strong straw presence and some caramel - a nice flavor for a pilsener.

Strong sweet hay and grass nose, light clear pale gold color, foamy head. Rough palate that tastes like hamster smells. Started getting better by mid-glass, but overall this is just an average pils.

Disappointing. Flowers, gras aroma. Yellow with a little fizzy head. Bitter but light, very thin. What is Edel in this?
