3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mmacleod75 (78) - Ontario, CANADA - JAN 17, 2013
Poured dark reddish brown with medium frothy head. Nutty malt aroma with some sweetness. Well balanced nut, slight wine, and malt. Still had a bit of sweetness, and slight bitterness, but very nicely balanced. Nothing was overpowering. Quite enjoyed it.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 solidfunk (1919) - Ontario, CANADA - JAN 16, 2013
Pours clear copper with dying head and medium lacing. Only thing persistent in this is nut. Some bitterness, pretty high carbonation. Couldn’t detect any wine here. On tap at Bar Hop.

On tap. Dark ruby pour, thin tan head. Aroma has dark fruit (I assume from the merlot), a little tobacco, vanilla. Light and oily. Pretty sweet throughout with a clean finish. It’s nice but unchallenging.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 jjarovi (49) - markham, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 7, 2012
On tap at 3030 - not that good, may have been off? Very light and acidic quality, almost medicinal? Thought about not reviewing but was told by the owners that is how it is supposed to be.
Not good.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Tessic (748) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 24, 2012
This porter poured a deep black colour with a big, foamy, tan coloured head. Little lacing. Scents include molassass, caramel, lightly roasted malts and a little coffee. First sip was flavourful with swet caramel notes, coffee, light smoke and a tiny bit of cocoa. Finish is roasty with a little bitterness on the palate. Delicious.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Strangebrewer (647) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 10, 2012
can from brewery 5.5%. Poured clear chestnut brown with a creamy mocha head. Malty caramel nose. Creamy thick mouthfeel. Full flavour, caramel malt and a nice herbal bitterness. A bit astringent finish.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 PatIrish (160) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 12, 2012
Malty, nutty, soft bitterness. White creamy head that sustained to the last sip. Pleasantly surprised.

Quite a refrsshing Porter which really shines through its sparkling and dry aftertaste. Standard roasted Porter flavours which are very enjoyable but not unique. This is a nice beer!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ontbeermaker (1859) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 28, 2011
This beer was decent, it just taste exactly every other neustadt beer I have had, assuming they use the same yeast as their scotch, lager and 10w30. This beer certianly doesnt taste like any other porter I have had. It just tasted like a lager that has a dark appearance. I would prob just go for a lager over this since they taste pretty much the same
