[1755-20081003] Cask. Not much aroma, some light yeasty grains and lemon. Slightly hazy, light orange brown body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Mild yeasty bread dough flavour has some alcoholic pine hints. Light-medium body. Nice, drinkable.

Cask sample at C’est What Fall Festival of Small Breweries. Light golden with a small white head. Aroma is mildly sweet, slightly fruity, with a citric hoppiness with interesting lime notes. Medium bodied. Flavour is fresh and summery, with more limey hops - more like lime leaf, actually - and a mildly sweet malt balance. Very sessionable, quite nice!

Cask. At Volo Cask Days 2008. Hazy light gold pour with a smallish white head. Sweet generic malt aroma, with apple, turpentine and herbal bitterness. The taste - urk, not good, harsh and chemically, something not right here. Average body, slick, harsh aftertaste. Nice, if weird, aroma, but ugly taste.

On tap at Cest What? , Toronto
Appearance: Fine, slight haze on gold background, mid beige creamy top. 3+
Nose: Aromatic hop feel , slight fruity notes. Sweeter maltier finish. 6-.
Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied. Clean full ranged palate. Sweet, solid malts with mashed nutty character. Pleasant smooth non abrasive ale. Good , clean finish. Not overly complex but nicely composed.

Cask at C’est What. Pours a clear gold with a small lasting creamy off-white head. Mild aroma is fruity, slightly sweet and with some light hops. Slightly watery flavour’s the same: fruit, caramel malt, light hops and has a decent bitter finish. Average bodied. Not bad -- a little mild and simple, but I could drink a few pints of this no problem.

2008-10-03. Light amber body with a modest white head. Mild aroma, light fruity hops. Sort of citrus or elderberry like notes to the fruitiness? (6+) Flavour has a similar sweet fruity character with pleasant bitterness throughout. Touches of citrus or citrus seed in the finish. (7+) Average palate feels thinner due to the light carbonation. Fairly mildly flavoured but quite pleasant, nice sessionable brew. Cask at C’est What

Cask sample at C’est What - poured a near-clear amber with a good sized head that coated the cup. Aroma quite fresh, but fairly subtle - certainly leafy, and a bit of yeast as well. Clean. Flavour kind of non-descript - nice mild bitterness throughout, and pretty velvety. Really the ideal beer for a cask. Could see drinking a lot of this.

C’est What. Mid-yellow with white foam, very lacey. Hoppyaroma, a good cask. A satisfying medium mouthfeel plus, its creamny. A constant and decent bitterness.
