Oakes (8058), gone rambling, Vietnam Sep 22, 2001 Moderately drinkable premium lager. Surpassed, however, by Walkerville, Niagara Spray and Creemore. Bov (5403), Bienne, Switzerland Sep 24, 2001 nice orange colour, fine head, nutty and fruity aroma, too much carbonation, sweet, long nutty finish Lubiere (4463), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Aug 4, 2006 Hazed golden beer with an extra thick cremy dirty white head. Aroma of spent yeast and peppery celery, again like a missed homebrew. In mouth, a beer with crisp malt, and the rather herbal peppery hops, with yeasty overtones which receede quickly. Again, an infected beer (April 2006). tiggmtl (4307), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Nov 26, 2006 Grassy, floral and earthy hops are notable over sweet and fruity base. Clear golden body is topped by a line of white head that lasts well. Sweet and fruity flavour with fair bitterness. Some honey like sweetness especially in the aftertaste. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Seems more like a golden ale than a lager but what the hey, it’s drinkable enough. Sampled at C’est What. Sammy (3934), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 22, 2005 If there was a smell, it was killed off by C’est What cleaning fluid. No taste or appearance either. Also little carbonation. Radek Kliber (3930), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada Oct 20, 2002 Impresivve head , nice light golgen look . Nice lagery aroma , preaty decent lager . HogTownHarry (3922), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Jan 9, 2006 Bottle (341ml). Poured clear gold with a small white disappearing head. Aroma of estery toasted caramel, wheat, honey, grains, hardwood resin - very faint, though. Taste exactly the same, only thinner, a little grainier and not as nice. Mouthfeel very watery and flat. The only good thing to say is I didn’t detect corn or adjuncts. jerc (3861), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 8, 2003 Pale yellow with no head. Flowery hop aroma with slight fruity notes. Long lasting aftertaste is interesting.
