Looks good, smells completely neutral and tastes just about the same. Enough hoppiness to keep it from being entirely forgettable, but certainly not very memorable.

Can was labeled Scottish Pale Ale - assuming this is the same beer. Amber colour. Slightly malty, a tiny bit hoppy, itty bitty trace of bitter. Smooth.

This beer has weak game. Scottish Ale my foot. Pours a nice amber colour with a quickly diminishing head. The flavour is a little is a little malty, and little hoppy and has a soapy finish. Thin and watery. Not like a scottish ale at all. But it’s still beer, so I’ll drink it.

The can I got of this from the LCBO spent a little too long in the freezer and I had to leave it out to warm up a bit for a while. So I don’t know if the taste was affected all that much, but I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt. A little watery and indistinct, but still some decent peaty malts with some nuttiness to it. Nice hop flavours in the finish, but not really bitter at all. Pretty enjoyable over-all. EDIT: When fresh, this stuff is awesome, delicious malts, hint of peat, with some decent hops to back it all up. Though be careful, I’ve had a bad can or two that had simply just sat around un-refridgerated for too long. If I could get it fresh all the time, it would be a staple for me.

Light brown and orangy in colour. Light head that dissipates very quickly. There isn’t really much of an aroma. Smells kind of like taffy/caramel. Taste is a little bitter, most likely due to the hop profile. Aftertaste is a little bitter.

341 mL bottle. Copper with a small head that fades to a film. Aroma is caramel and sweet orange. Flavour is quite malty, caramel sweet. Not much else. A touch of hops at the end. No smokiness, but there is a touch of something (cask?). Fairly full-bodied. Not too bad.

Light red/amber with a spritzy short white head. Large fast moving bubbles. Sweet malty nose with a bit of unripened fruit. Earthy with lots of carbonation. Some pepper and minerals. Slight whisky malt and washed out cola flavours. Toasted nuts and rye bread. Pretty good.

341 ml bottle, courtesy of StompBrockmore - pours a slightly opaque foxy amber with a good finger off off-white head. Aroma of earth, caramel, and some light chocolate. Smooth and very round in the mouth, with more chalky chocolate and a mild bitterness in the finish. Quite malty. Could use a bit more oomph in the tail end. Not terribly complex, but highly drinkable.
