3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dark gold, almost amber with bright white crown on top. Aroma is dominated by sweet, rich fruity malt, just very light faint woody /smoky hint behind. Medium bodied lager, fruity malts with light mineral hop finish. Soft. Similar in style to "older" Polish lagers.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Rich malty nose, woodiness too, copper/dark amber, small custard head. Flavour starts with light malt, some fruity notes and a hint of bread. Light bodied, sweet, nice mouthfeel and easily drinkable. Pretty good.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice pour on this beer. Aroma is present, not over powering. Malty carmel taste is a bit out of balance with the lack of hop bitterness.

3.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I donít have much smell, but this smells nice. Orange-yellow consistent appearance. Malts are evidents, but flavored well. It has the certain bland characteristics of many lagers, but certainly isnít bad at all (either that, or maybe here in Vegas, where we keep setting records for high temps, it was just too darn hot when I ranked this and I needed a beer). In fact, that probably is the case.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: OCT 14, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Dark golden, almost amber, clear beer with a creamy head. Very strong and sweet beer which feels somewhat alcoholic and not that refined. The style is like a pale bock, same style as Carlsbergís Elefant-beer but more full and sweet. 291103

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: JUL 5, 2005 Dark golden orange colored body with very active carbonation swirling around. A large and foamy white head. The aroma is sweat socks, dirt and ammonia. There is a subtle hint of caramel behind the other garbage. The taste is rotting, dirty oranges with some nasty chewed bubblegum in the aftertaste. A slightly sweet note just makes this beer more confusing. I know that this bottle was not more than a couple days old at my local store, so I hope storage was not an issue. I had a couple others form Neuzeller at about the same time and they seemed alright. This is just a mess of a beer.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
16.9 oz bottle. Decent head atop a semi-clear orange brew. Thatís about as many "good" things as I can say. I didnít like this beer. Itís rich, but I simply didnít care for the sweet caramel and grape flavor. Yeah, thereís some hop bitterness, but I didnít want to hang around long enough to experience it.
