COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Das älteste Bier der Welt Wurde in der sumerischen Kultur auf Geheiß des Gottes Enki gebraut. Mit der Gabe des Getreideanbaus schenkte der mythische Gott Enki den Menschen im Zweistromland auch das Brot und die Braukunst. Auch die Erfindung des Rades und der Schrift und viele in Vergessenheit geratene Fähigkeiten legte Enki uns in die Wiege der frühen Hochkultur.

Bottle. Hazy golden, creamy white head. Light sulphury and hayish aroma. Medium to light body, mellow mouthfeel. Grainy base, ok balance, not super exiting. I am almost certain Enki would prefer a bit more of a kick.

Bottled 500ml. -from Bier Imperium, Vienna. Hazy golden coloured, medium to big sized white head, dusty grainy nose. Sweet malty, dusty grainy and some cardboard with light bitter finish. Boring and (below) average.

So, seeing this one I’d hoped that Neuzelle was experimenting again. No, they weren’t. Hazy golden body, medium-big white head, slightly off. Grainy, sweetish malty nose. Glue & grain are the main components of the maltiness, very very very light bitterness, slightly salty in the end. Maybe. Exercise in boredom.
