(Neuzeller Lebensfreude Glutenfrei) Bottle 500 ml at home, served into an english pint glass. ABV 4.8% Pale golden yellow colour on the body, with good activity in it, small and thin white head, with average retention, leaving light lacing around the glass. Aroma has some apple like notes, plastic, glue. Even more apples on the flavour, somehow it managed to combine plastic and metal notes. Some glue again, band aid, but very light. Definitely not as bad as I thought by reading previous reviews, and not bad at all for a gluten free beer. Medium thin body, high carbonation. Quite drinkable this one.

0.5L bottle. Pours clear golden with virtually no head. Aromas dominated by sulfue / burnt tire and not much else. Flavor is medium to strongly sweet, with some hints of apple. Middle to end turns to herby hops, but not any complexity at all. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel and very active carbonation (almost like beer soda). Overall, not pleasant at all. Bad aromas, overly sweet, unidimensional, and crappy mouthfeel.

At the Hannoversches Bierfest, bottled 50 cl, on June 6, 2014. Marked 4.8% ABV, BB 24.09.14.
Clear straw yellow color, small white head. Sweet, sugary, red fruits scent. Sweet, sugary, soft drink taste. Fizzy mouthfeel, very low bitterness. Cidery and a bit vinous.

50cl Bottle via trade with Bierkoning, thanks Edo. Clear pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of sparkling apple juice, aspartame, not much else. Flavour is very sweet, artificial, aspartame, apple juice, sweet finish. Light-bodied. Bad stuff.

500ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with small, frothy, diminishing, white head. Floral, strawy aroma, hints of fermenting apple juice, Federweißer. Taste is moderately sweet, hints of clear apple juice; thin, watery, prickling carbonation. Poor surrogate.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Has an aroma and aftertaste like thrown up beer. Disgusting stuff but still drinkable in a special way.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Clear dark golden in colour with low but steady head. Taste of apple cider, red apples and light grass. Very unusual but as a beer it is not that good.

500 ml bottle. Pours clear light yellow witha small white head. Peach aroma. Strong sweet and sour peach taste, fading into a bitter palate. This beer is unique. Also, it’s gluten-free and has a cool name and label.
