Mild röstiger Antrunk, wenig herb. Die aufkommende Süße passt weniger, schnell wird das Bier milder, monoton. Trinkbar. 10/8/7/6/5/6

Black, frothy tan head, sweet malt aroma, hints of roasted malt, thin body, roasted malt flavor, a touch of roasted malt bitterness, just a little essence of chocolate after it warms

Deep dark brown, almost opague. Roasted malt and anis in the aroma. Pours a huge head. Soft malty sweet flavor with anis and mint. Roasted malt. Looks a bit like a Belgian sweet stout, but I like this beer better.

Black beeer with a nice reddish hue, with a light collapsing moka head. Chocolate vinous aroma with a touch of fresh air. Pleasant caramle malts, some nice little hops, some vanilla. Bodied is lighter than expected but the beer is thoroughly enjoyable. Sweetness is increased by camembert, which alos refreshes the beer even more. A big thanks to Maibockaddict, who recommend a slow sipping session, which i am doing right now, after a day of biking!!! Haaaaa.

Deep dark brown colour with a nice foamy head. Aroma of smoked malt and some chocolate. Flavour of well roasted malts, chocolate, nice smokiness and caramel. Roasty bitter finish. A tasty schwarzbier brewed according to an old monk recipe.

This black/brown elixir bade bier has a moderate head and an aroma with notes of malt and herbs. The flavour is a bit like their "Anti Aging Beer", less sweet perhaps, and strong notes of malt (wheat among others), and notes of berries and licorice. It’s a quite OK schwartzbier.
