Appearance, sound and foam promise a lot and it does wont let you down. Rich, fresh, acid - slightly citrus, although a bit light. Balanced taste. Perfect friend to summer sauna and smoked sausage.

Kauge (349) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 22, 2014
Bottle from eDrinks in Tallinn (€ 1,56). Pours brown with a shade of ruby. Head brief and fizzy, light beige. Nose: roasted malts and caramel dominant, faint notes of berries and dark fruits, or rather grape juice in the background. Taste: grainy malts and caramel, some ashy roastiness, slightly metallic and fruity in the finish. Dry on the palate. Medium body. Small but fizzy carbonation. Quite good!

Tumma simamainen aromi ja väri. Maku raikas, hapokas, luumuinen, hiivainen, makeahko. Kokonaisuutena ihan jeppiskamaa.

Moolesen (219) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 5, 2014
Bottle 50cl. Very dark brown with a light beige head. Nice aroma of roasted malt, little chocolate and some liqourice. Promising.... Surprising rich taste for a beer of only 5,2% alc/vol. It is of course no stout but a very pleasant beer which leaves a positive impression. Good beer

Aivan miellyttävä lipitys. Portterin hassuja haisuja. Takapotkua uupuu. Alkutahdit hyvät.

0,5L bottle, BB 27.01.15. Pours dark brown with light tan head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is grains, roast, and malt. Taste is very sweet, roast, grains, and caramel. Overall: not awful, but not really my kind of brew.

thirstyrabbit (1150) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 15, 2014
Bottle. Dark brown body, medium tan head. Aroma has used coffee grounds, some dark chocolate. Pleasantly smooth, even somewhat oily mouthfeel - no sharp carbonation that makes some thinner Schwartzbiers too fizzy. Nutty and roasty taste with some more wet coffee grounds. Good.
