Draught at Loreley in Osaka. Very expensive! Malty nose with some grass and bread. Sweet, malty flavor, light hops, some grass. Light bitterness but no distinctive hop character. Ok but nothing special and certainly not worth the 1400 yen I was charged for a pint.
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20 ClubGonzo (1732) - Bergen, NORWAY - FEB 9, 2011
Bottle. Pours a yellow body with a medium foamy, short-lived head. Aroma is faint pale malts and metallic notes. Taste is even worse, with lots of canned aromas completely destroying the mid-palate and onwards. Bad, bad beer.
