3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at The Irish Rover. Aroma of bitter chocolate, moderate roast and light coffee. Appearance is black with a ring of mocha head. Flavor is chocolate-centric; the roast and coffee takes a backseat to the chocolate, but is still present. There is a little smoke here as well with the rich chocolate finish. Palate is velvety soft and creamy, a big, delicious stout mouthfeel. Excellent stout; NABC should bottle this one if they donít already.
