Cornfield (4343), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Sep 3, 2008 Tap: Not a bad drink, but I prefer my smoked beers to be a bit meatier. It poured a brownish orange with a substaintial head that pasted the sides of the glass with heavy lace. The aroma was a grainy caramel with a subtle smokiness. The smoke was a bit stronger in the flavor and the beer delivered a solid hoppy bitter kick in the finish. Not too bad.

heemer77 (3789), Savannah, Missouri, USA Aug 16, 2005 Sampled at the Great Taste of the Midwest 2005. Hazy dark gold body. The aroma is strong smoked salmon with some peanuts. The taste is definitely smoke. There is also light toast and walnuts. There is some toffee in here too. This is right up the alley of smoked beer lovers. bu11zeye (3782), Frisco, Texas, USA Dec 18, 2003 (Draught) Pours an amber color with a small white head. Has a mellow smokey and hops flavor. Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates May 17, 2006 Draft sample at the St Louis Microfest 5/13/06: Orange-amber with a bubbly head. Nice light smoky aroma. Mellow flavors ... thought I liked it but there was a bit of a cigarette aspect to it.
