Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with moderate white head. Nose has some decently strong banana notes to it, without the hoppy notes characteristic of an IPA; I’d have pegged this more as a golden/blonde ale. Taste is bitter, but it seemed to me like the hops had turned after sitting on the shelf too long. Felt quite heavy as well. Meh.

Sample from a 22oz bottle, shared by Adam. Mostly clear golden orange color. Fine particles in the body. Thin off-white head, some loose bits of lace. Nice nose. Lightly frunky, light fruity citrus. Medium-plus body. Good smooth lighter carbonation. Biscuity malt profile. Light citrus hops. Light bit of belgian yeast, some light pepper. Zesty sweet, lightly spicy, light bitter taste. Nice splotches of lace. Good, complex, flavorful smooth easy-drinking stuff.

Bomber:
Pours hazed amber with a tall, off-white head.
Slightly yeasty aroma, with roasted grain.
Taste is floral/herbal bitter....very soft.
Bready, a little resin.
Very light, but nice.

Bomber from quenholly. This pours a dark gold color with decent sized off-white head. Floral and grassy aroma with caramel. There’s also a touch of clove and Belgian yeast, surely the Struise influence there. The flavor has a toasted grain edge to it with a slick malty body, grassy notes, and a bitter hop finish. Nothing extreme though. Pretty straight forward here; solid but unspectacular. It probably could be considered an APA.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 tastybeer (1313) - Bloomington, Indiana, USA - NOV 9, 2012
Draft. Hazy deep gold pour, white head, little retention/some lace. Aroma of grassy/citrus hops, yeast, bread, light dust. Taste is moderately bitter, grassy/floral hops, dusty, yeast, lemon, bread. Palate is soft, creamy, lightly bitter finish. Not really an IPA - closer to golden ale.

Bomber to snifter. Looks looks solid; a transparent burnt-orange with thin white lacing. Smells good; hoppy and spicy. Tastes decent; like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Solid.

Has some banana/clove scents, wheat, and some fruit notes. Taste is some wheat and citrus fruit up front, light bitterness to finish.

Clear medium amber with a long-lasting off-white head and solid streaks of lace. Good-looking brew. Nice caramel malt going in, cut by mild hop bittering through the palate, finsih has both sides strolling hand in hand. Doesn’t seem strong enough for an IPA, but otherwise, very tasty and worth searching out. Recommended.
