COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Excessive hopping rendered moot a modest plan to brew a seasonal winter warmer, and since the original batch was brewed on Election Day, 2002, Elector continued to make democracy pointless and redefine the Imperial Red category.

English & American malts; Cascade & Galena hops; London yeast. Dry-hopped. O.G. 1072

antzman (316) - Clarksville, Indiana, USA - FEB 24, 2006
Draft. Poured and amber/brown with little head. Nice citrus tones in the nose. The flavor is a good balance of hops with a touch of malt to even things out. Not overly hoppy, but nice and refreshing.

SpudClampDawg (1029) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - JAN 8, 2006
Draft. Cloudy, apple cider pour with no head. The nose is light and juicy, noting apple and cherry. The body presents a moderate bitterness and a fresh hop slickness. Juicy mouthfeel is the result of the fresh hops. Slightly buttery malt backbone keeps things together and bring in creamy caramel notes to balance the hops. Good stuff that went great with pizza.

thedm (5136) - Fort Wayne, USA - MAR 21, 2005
This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy light brown colored fine to medium sized long lasting bubbles that left behind a softly carbonated transparent copper brown colored body and a good lacing. The aroma was mild with a malt hop red note to it and the mouth feel was initially mild with a tingle that strengthened in the finish. The flavor was smooth in character with a red malt flavor.

Clear dark copper body, beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, light caramel. Soft light-medium body, low carbonation. No clubbing over the head with the bitterness, just straightforward enjoyable. Very drinkable.
