Aroma of oak and salt which gives off a very salty impression, some honey as well. Appearance is light gold with white head; carbonation is light. Flavor is woody, quite salty and has some honey; basically like the nose. Palate is light, sticky and soft. Enjoyable.

On tap at the brewpub on Bank Street. Pours a clear yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of light buttery notes, smoke, pale malts. Flavor is smoked initially with pale malts and bitter hops in the finish. Lightly smoked but it adds a nice subtlety to this beer. Crisp, easy drinking.

Draft at the source. Hazy pale yellow, thick white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of lightly spiced straw. Taste is bitter and herbal, something like rosemary and thyme maybe. Not bad.

Tap at brewery. Woody smoke, banana, wheat malt aroma. Honey gold with a small off-white head, light lacing. Creamy wheat, smoke, and banana flavor with a light herbal bitter finish. Medium creamy body.

Draft. Oak smoke and wheat malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Mild sweet-sour smoky wheat malt flavor initially followed by a moderately bitter herbal finish. Very tasty especially for a lower alcohol beer.
