on draft and it poured out orangish yellow color with light white foamy head. the aroma of hops very prevelant and tasty as well. the warmer the beer got the better the hops tasted. not overly bitter but just the right touch that sits on the tongue. very enjoyable in as much i had two.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Growler. Pours orange with an off white head. Aroma of floral and citrusy hops. Medium bodied with a slight sticky texture. Pale toffee and honey like malt base, countered by an assertive puckering citrus rind bitterness. Dry and resiny finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Served on tap at the brewpub. The appearance is a hazy yellow. The aromas are earthy hops and a touch of citrus. The flavors are the same but a little muted. Perhaps not the freshest keg? Overall an average DIPA.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap in an English pint at the Back Door lounge. Poured dark amber with very little head. For the style, this beer lacked the huge hop aroma one would expect. The flavor was not as hoppy as one would think either. I think the keg was really old or something, so I need to try this beer again.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
tap at Indiana winterfest - The aroma is full of citrus hops and earthy accents. The flavor is well hopped too, but also seems almost sugary. It’s sweet for a DIPA. That works alright though and the complex hop characteristics come through well.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the 2010 Microfest in St. Louis. Pours a clear bright amber with a robust off white head. Aroma is pine cones. Taste is asweet malt, brown sugar and pine/grapefruit. Also pretty damn hoppy with noticable alcohol.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Rich O’s. Pours red with a small head. Not much aroma considering the style. Berries, brown sugar and a mild wooden bitterness are noted. The palate is a little sticky. My first impression of the flavor is how sweet it is. It’s downright sticky like glazed cake. Hops are not all that defined. Some wood, berries, dessert sweetness make up the flavor. This is like a well hopped English styled barleywine.
