3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from 22oz bomber, pours a clear golden/amber with a decent white head, the aroma was kind of dull with a little bit of hops on the nose, the flavor really didn’t blow me away either, very malty with a finish of slight fruit and hops, kind of a metallic finish as well, I wonder if this is an old bottle or something.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
On draft from brewery. Full aroma with notes of grapefruit and citrus, pretty hoppy but malty enough to balance the bitterness. The finish was hoppy and slight hints of resin. Mouthfeel is medium with lively carbonation. Overall a very good imperial IPA. I will say that having had more than 6 separate batches of this, it varies quite a bit from batch to batch.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle courtesy of shrubber85. Copper pour. Citrus hops with a hint of grapefruit. Biscuit and cracker malt backbone with citrus hop bitterness, lemon and grapefruit essence. Somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Could have used a bit more hops in all aspects, but especially the aroma.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle. Hazy half-opaque yellow-orange color. Thin, smooth white, creamy persisting head. Plenty dots and rings of lace, really thick. Almost a complete white sheet on the opposite end of the glass. Malty-sweet taste. Some dryness. Nice hops. Really big aroma. Bitter taste, light sweetness. Lighter carbonation, bigger body. Really sweet nose, some grapefruit, some caramel.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bomber from Sahara Mart, Bloomington. Interesting mid-90s computer game graphics logo. Impressions of this were largely similar to those with the imperial pils. Possibly suffered by not being stored cool, which partially explains the excess of bready malts in the aroma. Body was a bit underdeveloped, with a sharp boozy finish. Flavors start out big and malty, and try to get by with an aggressive hop bite rather than complexity.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz. bottle: Pours a cloudy copperish orange with a thin off-white head that has nice lacing. Hoppy aroma has hints of floral, citrus and pine. Initial flavor has a caramel sweetness leading into a citrus tartiness that feels creamy and finishes with a medium bitterness.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma of sweet orange, tropical fruits, and caramel malt. Flavor of caramel malt, bready malt, citrus with a very bitter finish. Thankfully not super sweet as many double ipas tend to be. Very bitter and resiny. Some tangy hops. Nice and drinkable for a 10.7%. 7/4/8/4/14 (3.7/5)

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22oz bottle from sefus12, thanks Beau! Pours a cloudy, golden-orange colored body with a big, foamy, over-carbonated, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is a bit sweeter citrus with some tangerines, grapefruits, and some lemony pines. A bit herbal with a light, pale cereal malt sweetness from the malts. Flavor is similar. Hops are initially on the sweeter side, but get fairly bitter. Tangerines and oranges up front with some florals before a sweeter cereal malt comes in. Seems like there is a touch of caramel in there despite the claim that this is all pale malts. Hops get bitter and resiny with some grapefruit pines in the middle of this and grow a bit towards the end. Some sticky oranges come out in a dry, piney, resiny, somewhat herbal finish. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and higher carbonation. Overall, a decent DIPA. Hides the alcohol very well, but the hops seem a bit messy. The simple pale malt sweetness is nice and the somewhat sweeter citrus is as well, but this never came together for me. Not bad, but not great.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Solid aroma, slightly hoppy with plenty of zest. The alcohol is slightly present in the taste. Great session beer.
