Crushed with Honkeybra at the brewery. A definite hop bomb. Floral, kinda spicy, and citrus flowing through the aroma and flavor. Nothing incredible, but pretty damn tasty.

Pour is a golden orange color with a light white head. Nose is of hops with some yeasty note. Taste is of a standard ipa with a little bread in the finish.

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2011 On tap at FFF; pour is fairly clear golden with a fantastic off white head not typical of your iipa; retention is terrific, and lacing is nice as well. So its the english side of this brew that makes it interesting. The fuggles hops and "London" yeast make this brew feel like lighter english fare, but the hop profile on the tongue says otherwise. The abv seems to be masked fairly well, however. I really enjoyed this one, honestly. It seemed like a unique one by my standards

This IPA is really good. Light and hoppy with a potent hop profile and great malt balance. Citrus and light fruit notes add just enough sweetness to counter the hops and yeast. Bready finish.

22 oz growler (thank you Jeff). Pours dark orange, almost red in color. Thin head from a gentle pour but will give you a thick head with a more agressive pour. Aroma is fruity and sweet with a hint of tomato or coriander. For 100 IBUís itís very well balanced. Itís a sweet beer and the sweetness offsets the hops. Strong malty backbone. Almost too much sweetness. The flavor is much better than the aroma. No coriander flavor. Taste of apricot and apples. For a high IBU beer it is very well balanced. Almost too much on the sweet side. Overall, not bad but I would prefer less sweetness.

22 ounce bottle. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a hazy orange/copper color with a frothy inch and a half off-white head. Head retention is very good, and thereís a decent amount of lacing left on the glass. The aroma is interesting, the brew smells like earthy and pine hops, bubblegum and some herbs and cloves. The taste is similar to the aroma, it tastes like citrusy (grapefruit) and pine hops, caramel malt, herbs, and some cloves. Thereís also a very long lasting bitter hoppy finish. Mouthfeel/body is medium, itís a bit slick and is well carbonated. I liked this brew, it wasnít exactly quite what I was expecting in an IIPA but in this case it was a pleasant surprise.

This was 900th! I found this a little of a letdown. While it was a very good drinker, it did not live up to my expectations as DIPA. The flavors are there (though a little sweet and malty for my taste), but they are a little subdued. Hazy yellow pour with a foamy head.

22oz bottle into a pint glass. Aromas are sweet and boozy with a little sourness. Appearance is a clear golden color with an ample white head with an aggressive pour. Taste is sweetness forward, then bitterness on the back end with some funk from the fuggle hops. The sweetness is reminiscent of beer with grapes, like the Stone 10.10.10, but then the very bitter and dry ending comes in. Palate is medium to full bodied with decent carbonation. Overall, this one is not for me.

Bottle shared by a friend. Pours a clear amber with a medium white head. Malty nose to the point of a licorice note with some citrusy and piney hops. Malty and caramelly flavor up front, but quickly turns to super bitter piney and grassy hops all the way to the end.

Pours hazy copper with white head and little lacing. Aroma of citrus, oranges, floral, and hay but kind of faint. Taste is sweeter that I expected, but has solid bitterness. Palate has a full body with a long bitter finish. Overall, a pretty good DIPA, kind of Barleywinish but bitter.
