COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian Rye Wit. Those hardy immigrant gnomes who came from the venerable hills of the Ardennes to take up residence beneath the mysterious Knobs of Southern Indiana get lonely, too. That’s why NABC gave them Tunnel Vision, a potion reminiscent of home, and sufficiently versatile for consumption in all seasons — and on all continents.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized mostly diminishing bubbles that left behind a softly carbonated transparent body and a fair lacing. The aroma was mild with malty notes and the mouth feel was medium tingly with a malt hop flavor mixed with grass and corn. Average at best.

Sampled at an esbls tasting. Cool thick layer of small bubbles. Mid brown. Smooth. Chocolaty with complex fruit and softer hops. Alcohol is only lightly tasted. This is chewy and tasty.

muzzlehatch (4424) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - JUL 16, 2004
Sample at the brewpub. Lemon-lime spicy, very light in color which belies the huge full body. Very yeasty...herbal and pungent to finish, not perhaps as thirst-quenching as a wit might be, but interesting with the big thick body.
