22oz bottle from Kentucky. Clear golden with a small, thick, off white head. Aroma of citrus, dank, floral, caramel and light rye spiciness. Flavor is bitter upfront with spicy rye bread dough and light alcohol. Medium body with a thick mouth feel. This one is really nice but seems to possibly be a bit old.

22oz bottle thanks to drfabulous
Appearance: It’s a gushery! Cloudy amber with a medium sized off-white head and lots of lacing
Aroma: Dusty, caramel and rye
Taste: Dusty caramel, grapefruit, and rye spices, sticky sweet finish
OK, but wouldn’t go back for another one though.

Bottle. Pours with lacy off-white head. Cloudy. Hoppy, but not overly. Very slight rye spice. Full mouth feel. Not bad.

Aroma is overly/artificially sweet malts and a hint of rye. The flavor is spicy rye, citrus hops and the same too sweet malts dominating.

Bottle: 2nd gusher of the night.   Orangish straw, thick haze, large frothy white head, clingy lacing.   Nose suggests some Rye, IPA hoppiness, but also some powdery sugar like pixie stix.   That pixie stix becomes much more apparent on the tongue.   This one seems very much infected.   Its a nasty mess of astingent straw and pixie stix candy.   This one is blown... deserves a re-rate if I ever come across another bottle.   Neat label, but the beer is bunk.   Very overcarbonated with moldy cardboard on the exit.   Drain pour, this is digusting.   Thanks for the try Jeff!

Draft to taster at the brewhouse. Looks alright; a transparent gold with sticky white lacing. Smells of bitter hops. Tastes solid; like it smells with nice balance and that rye presence on the back of the tongue. Average on the palate. Pretty good.

Pour a slightly hazy orange color with an off white head, long lasting and leaving nice lacing. Strong citrus aromas, grapefruit, orange, tangerine, with some rye spice. Light bodied, smooth. The bitterness is very assertive, the rye spice is very present. There’s just a touch of malt to balance. The bitterness is overwhelming, can’t taste much else.

bottle 12/18/11. orange/gold with a monstrously over carbonated head. aromas of yeast, spice, pine, orange and a ton of florals. the flavor is the same but with added notes of dust and spice. it is a bit sweet and rather mediocre...5.5/3/5/3/13/

On tap poured copper to dark orange in color. Foamy fizzy head. Taste of dry nutty hops. Very hoppy. Was anticipating a bread or oat taste and didn’t get it. Very carbonated.

This beer is a bit of a mess. Poured from a 22oz bomber into a glass snifter. Hazy, light copper appearance with 4in frothy head that lingers. This beer is way overcarbonated. Aroma is rye and slightly grassy, but is very faint for a DIPA. Flavor is also mostly grassy, with just a hint of citrus, pine, and rye. This beer is incredibly unbalanced - very, very bitter and tastes like every bit of the 130IBUs advertised on the bottle. As for mouthfeel, this one is very, very bubbly. Again, way over carbonated. I usually like the style but overall, although it?s nowhere near a drain pour, this one is not very enjoyable. I won’t be having another.
