VENOM (941), Connecticut, USA Aug 14, 2002 Light amber with some finings. Sticky, compacted white head. Very light carbonation. Healthy toasted caramel aroma, oxidation and soft hops. Decent body with a dose of toasted caramel, wet paper and slightly citric hops. Would never guess this for a light (95 calories, fat free) beer. Although the flavor seems a bit stripped it is still moderately tasty. Medium body. Clean and smooth. Fresh water taste. Hints of minerals. Seems stale at the finish. Why don’t these guys use dated packaging? Decent, if fresh.
