Bomber. Clear light orange with frothy, off-white head that lasts. Lots of lacing on the sides. Aroma of hot peppers, citrus, spice, and wood. Flavor is sweet citrus and veggie notes with hot peppers, yeast/spice some light bitterness and wood. Medium bodied, crisp. Hides the alcohol well.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aroma is spicey hops, chili, citrus hops, clove and lemon grass. Taste is a mild sweet malt body followed by a fairly well balanced hoppiness that is earthy and fairly citrus rich. Appearance is a clear gold with a medium frothy head that retains well.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
cool, very unique brew. Never had this combination of flavors and aroma. Fruity hops and Belgian yeast aroma. Some bubble gum and light peppers. Weird but cool. Slightly sweet on the palate. Unexpected, but again, cool. The wood is light as is the peppers but they are there. Hops are more of a fruity boquet than bitter. This is insanely complex yet easy drinking. Nice job guys."

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Medium golden body, average white head that retains well. Yeasty, sweet pale malts, estery but where’s the heat? I detect negligable chili character here, and no indication of any cedar aging. Disappointing.

650ml brown bottle. Golden, a bit hazy. Frothy and sticky white cap. Nose has citrus, bread, pepper and a little fruitiness. Taste has bread, caramel, orange, yeast, wood, earth. Aftertaste has spice, orange peel, some bitterness. Not much heat. ABV stays well hidden. Interesting beer, not what I expected.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Visual: Pours clear copper-orange with a smallish head, thin sticky lacing, a thin layer of retention, several slow streams.
Nose: caramel malts, mild but apparent orange citrus (lvl-4)-pungency
Attack: light oily, crisp mouthfeel, bitter hops
Mid-palate: immediate pepper vegginess, light tingly, (lvl-6)-sweetness, (MAIN) caramel malts, orange
Finish: light spicy heat, soft citrus bitter hops, woody malty sweet finish.
Summary: Great full-bodied flavour, complexity and mouthfeel. I particularly dig the balanced citrus and heat elements.

On draught during the 4th Annual Fire & Brimstone Festival at Saraveza. Fizzy golden with fluffy white head. Aroma is light yeast, plum, and cedar. Taste is toffee, plum, light yeast, cedar, and a touch of chili. Chili flavor mostly comes through in a touch of heat on the finish.

On tap at revo. SmellZ of apricots oranges, sweet lime, pretty sure I can smell the peppers - no smoke but a peppery smell, lightly toasted non whole wheat crust. Buds: really good combo of hops and the peppers for a good hop heat bite. No confusion - this is not a "heat" pepper beer thankfully. Kinda creamy here and there, peachy base, mish mash that I can’t quite analyze. Pretty good. I think more is in order.
