COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’re about to light up Florida with this Cigar City collaborative brew. Our Belgian yeast tangos with Anaheim and Marash peppers along with loads of citrusy hops to create an ale full of spice. Aged on Spanish cedar to salute our mutual love for wood!

22oz bottle - A very strange, strong beer with some pretty big swings of aroma and flavor. The cedar seems to dominate the aroma for me with just a smidge of underlying bell pepper-like note and a touch of fruit. Grapefruity and cedar on the palate, with just a hint of any chili pepper presence, both in flavor and spice level. Very, very low spice level and the pepper presence is more vegetal. Not bad.

The nose is well spiced with moderate spice notes, citrus, lemony notes and clove spices. A bit earthy and woody with a solid hoppiness that blends well. A bit rich and well spiced with heavy malts and light citrus and fruity notes. A well balanced but quirky brew with an interesting spice and hop notes that go well with toasted caramel malts. In general, I liked it but would probably not buy again.

Tap at Sidedoor. Filtered orange-tan-amber body. Foamy off-white head. Interesting vegetal heat in the aroma. Interesting balance, a lot going on. The pepper heat is certainly present, but melds really well into the cedar and fruity belgo yeast. Almost an amarillo dry straw hop balance. Unique and out there, more LOF than CC. Not fantastic, but unique. An interesting palate mixer upper.

On tap at 1702. Pours light copper with very thin head. Aroma of lighy malt and green veg. Flavor has some upfront hops and veg green chile. Just a hint of lingering heat on the finish after about a minute. Great beer to show the chile light enough but motocable. Very nice.

Honey brown, with a small skiff floating on top. I normally hate me a chilli beer but this seems to be working for me. Aroma is sweet candied peach with a hidden pepper spice. Bubble gum really started to dominate the aroma the longer it sat in my glass. Taste is pretty much the same but way more of that sweet bubble gum hop comes through. The chillies build on your pallett the more you drink but never gets spicy. Yep cedar is noticeable. Not my favorite beer but best chilli beer by a long shot.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with kiwi, Lichee, agave, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with lingering bitter notes, chili, grassy hops, nice but not too hot. #OttBottShare.

Bottle. Bright fruity aroma. Fruity taste with spice, bitterness, but no heat from the chilis. Quite sweet.

Pours golden with a white head. Citrus, chili, yeast and malt aroma. Mango, orange, yeast, lemon, chili, wood and malt flavors. Medium body and carbonation. Slight pepper spice. Citrus and slight pepper finish.

Aroma is spicey hops, chili, citrus hops, clove and lemon grass. Taste is a mild sweet malt body followed by a fairly well balanced hoppiness that is earthy and fairly citrus rich. Appearance is a clear gold with a medium frothy head that retains well.
