Has a very dark ruby color with a small light tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is very malty and sweet. Good lacing on the glass. The taste was roasted malts with a nice finish. Poured a deep brown with a hint of red with about a finger of off white head with fine bubbles. Cocoa in the aroma. Light to medium body. Chocolate malt with a little sweetness. Dry malty finish with some lingering chocolate flavors.

Aroma is rich and malty with a hint of smoke. Flavor is also sweet and malty with a hint of cherry followed by a light fruity acidic bitterness. Medium body is creamy with moderate carbonation.
