Jul 29, 2009 Poured dark, dark brown. The head was off-white and short. The aroma was smoke, roasted malts and thin chocolate. The flavor was lots of smoked malts and some light sweetness that was followed by a slightly sour finish. The mouthfeel is thin and very dry.

Jul 21, 2009 Very pleasing beer. This reminds me of a porter with its dark appearance and full bodied feel. Nice malty flavor with the bitterness of hops balanced well with the sweet lingering taste.

Jul 17, 2009 12 ounce single bottle from Total Wine in Huntersville, NC. Pours a nice brown color with a tan head. Aroma is a very nice malt. Taste is roasted malt, some cocoa notes and a nice finish. A Great Beer.

Jul 17, 2009 Brewed in the USA..... Courtesy of AFI96, thanks Waylo. Pours dark brown in color with a thin beige head. Aroma is kind of musty with some roasted malts, nuts and chocolate. Taste of toffee, malts and chocolate. The mouthfeel is medium in body with a sweet malty finish.
