Jamie3233 (2), Glenwood Springs, Colorado, USA does not count Oct 25, 2007 My personal favorite. Obvious dry hoppiness. In my experience its a much better beer on tap than from a bottle. Also better to take in a globe glass or a snifter. The aroma dominates the head and enhances the experience. lipscomb216 (62), USA Nov 24, 2006 Updated: Jan 20, 2007Wow, my new favorite beer. Who cares what color it pours, I surely don’t. Not when it tastes this good. My previous favorites, both Fat Tire and Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, all mixed into one. My god! how it cleaves the palate, and renders me speechless. A very good beer, has the Fat Tire biscuit malt flavor and the Celebration Ale’s hoppy goodness, one of a kind goodness. Hops hit ya first, biscuit finish is the surprise ending. A helluva beer, canNOT say enough about this one. Its like drinking all the good things about Christmas in a bottle. lowry99 (14), USA Mar 5, 2008 Deceptively complex beer, best off tap and best (counterintuitively) when freezing cold on a freezing cold day. Seemed to lose rather than gain character when warmed. Extremely drinkable and pleasant, not too much on the hops. TheEvilTwin (13), Texas, USA Sep 17, 2005 Excelent beer, this is the hoppiest NBB beer ever reliesed to the public. The dry hopped aroma doninated on the nose with hints of fresh cut grass and carmel. Dry on the palatewith excellent hop flavor. Perfectly carbonated for this style of beer. Excelent lace in the glass and a wonderful lingering hop finish. I also got this from a sample case. Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Dec 30, 2006 Draft at Yard House KC: Deep rosy amber, decently laced but thin head. Musty hoppy aroma, but this flavor is more robust and wintery ... earthy hop, with almost a chamomile flourish to it. Filling and very good beer.
