I just put this one on tap in my kegerator, and I could not be more thrilled! I think this beer is an excellent example of the craftsmenship NBB puts into its beer. It has a great nose of clove and banana with spice. Taste was wounderful, and only got better as the beer warmed up. This is a great beer to unwind with or to pair with a dessert, or a strong cigar.

Sep 17, 2008 Garnet colored...impressive off-white creamy head. Nuttiness, dark fruit, caramel and brown sugar on the nose. You can definitely taste it’s Belgian influences but it just doesn’t stand up to the smaller batch beers in terms of complexity. A nice transitional brew. Inexpensive and tasty, but not amazing.

Sep 12, 2008 Mahogany with a medium off-white head. Aroma of fruit, brown sugar, nuts and bubblegum. Taste of brown sugar, nuts, toffee and fruit. Semi-dry nutty finish.

Sep 11, 2008 Brewed in large quantities reduces the Belgian ale-ness. However, thats makes me like this beer a bit more than others of similar style.

Sep 10, 2008 On tap at brewery. Golden brown with a fizzy tan head. Malty raisin aroma and taste, but nothing special.

Sep 5, 2008 I think I’m just not a dubble kinda guy. I like the tripple but this was way too bubbly and sweet.
