Pours a deep brown with nice white head. Has a pronounced banana aroma and flavor but also bittersweet chocolate, rum and raisins. Has a slight astringent note, maybe due to a roasted malt addition?

Sep 17, 2008 Garnet colored...impressive off-white creamy head. Nuttiness, dark fruit, caramel and brown sugar on the nose. You can definitely taste it’s Belgian influences but it just doesn’t stand up to the smaller batch beers in terms of complexity. A nice transitional brew. Inexpensive and tasty, but not amazing.

Sep 12, 2008 Mahogany with a medium off-white head. Aroma of fruit, brown sugar, nuts and bubblegum. Taste of brown sugar, nuts, toffee and fruit. Semi-dry nutty finish.
