Holy calamity scream insanity this beer would be a big fan of me....if New Belgium hasn’t disappointed me before. Ranger met Allagash white at a bar and had one too many Lips of Faith offerings and had a baby. This is it.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazy pale straw color with a finger of white head that settles to a film and leaves good lacing. Aroma has citrus and pineapple along with some yeastiness. Taste is citrusy with some pineapple, a grassy flavor and a bit of white pepper. Finishes mostly dry with a citrus pith bitterness that is moderate. Crisp mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation. Enjoyable IPA but nothing special.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Very mild aroma of citrus and unidentifiable funk, which is not very inviting. Pours fine into the glass, heads up well, and is as light and clear as the piss being produced by the massive adjunct brewers. I found no mention of wheat, which may be why there is no haziness. The taste is very weak, with little bitterness, and the mouthfeel is somewhere between adjunct lager and real craft beer. That’s what I said, real craft beer, which this is not. They should put training wheels on their iconic cruiser bikes, alluding to their market niche of ’crafty beer’ for those expanding their palates beyond light lagers that pander to sheep with their television commercials.
